Sharing regular posts is a powerful strategy to keep your audience engaged and informed about your latest updates and promotions
Zaap makes it simple to create and share posts with your subscribers, allowing you to use them as email newsletters or publish them on your Zaap page, similar to a blog.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to create a post using Zaap.
From your Zaap Dashboard and click on the 'Posts' tab.
Once you're in the Posts tab, navigate to the 'Posts' menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
In the Posts menu, click on the 'New Post' button to create a new post.
Once you click the "New post" button you will see the post Edit menu
Post Edit Menu have 4 sections
A. Details
B. Channel
C. Content
D. Schedule
The Details section changes based on the channel you have selected
1. Subject - Subject of your email
2. Sender - This is the name and email address which is shown as sender name and email to your audience
Note - Replies will be sent to the email you provide as the sender email address
Subject - This will be the Title of your post
This will serve as the thumbnail for your post.
Please ensure that the cover image is smaller than 5MB in file size.
Click the "Edit Content" to open the Post content editor
On the Post content editor Click the + to open the blocks menu
The blocks menu have 11 blocks
1. Text
2. Heading
3. Button
4. Images
5. Delimiter
6. List
7. Raw HTML
8. Checklist
9. Quote
10. Code
11. Warning
Once you click on the "Text" button, the text block will be activated and you can begin typing your post content.
If you highlight the text, additional options will appear allowing you to convert it into a heading, list, checklist and quote.
You also have the ability to format the text with bold or italic styles and even turn it into a hyperlink.
By clicking on the option button located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block, deleting the block, and changing the alignment of the block.
Once you click on the "Heading" button, the heading block will be activated and you can begin typing heading for your post content.
If you click the tune option, additional options will appear allowing you to convert it into other type of headings.
Once you click on the "Button" button, the Button block will be activated and you can configuring the button
Once you click on the "Images" button, the Image block will be activated and you can add images to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as changing image border, stretching images, editing background, moving the block, deleting the block.
Once you click on the "Delimiter" button, the Delimiter block will be activated and you can add Block breaks to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block and deleting the block
Once you click on the "Lists" button, the Lists block will be activated and you can add Lists to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as changing the list to Unordered, Ordered, moving the block, deleting the block.
Once you click on the "Raw HTML" button, the Raw HTML block will be activated and you can add Raw HTML to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block anddeleting the block.
Once you click on the "Checklist" button, the Checklist block will be activated and you can add Checklist to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block and deleting the block.
Once you click on the "Quote" button, the quote block will be activated and you can add quote to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as changing the alignment of the block, moving the block and deleting the block.
Once you click on the "Code" button, the code block will be activated and you can add codes to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block and deleting the block.
Once you click on the "Warning" button, the warning block will be activated and you can add warnings to your post
By clicking on the tune option located next to the "+" button, you will have access to additional options such as moving the block and deleting the block.
You have the option to either send the post immediately or schedule it for a later time.
Please note that the time zone used is UTC +0.
Clicking on "send test" allows you to send a test post to your email address for testing purposes.
Please note Send Test option won't be visible if you have selected the channel as "Post to profile"
After completing the setup of your post, you can send it by clicking on the "Publish now" button or if you have selected Schedule option then you can Schedule it.
